Location: Al-Faiha’, Kuwait City, Al Asimah (Capital Governorate), Kuwait

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and experienced Scaffolders to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry. This full-time role is based in Kuwait City and offers a competitive salary range of 2-4 LPA. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of scaffolding experience, preferably in the mechanical engineering sector, and hold an ITI certification.

As a Scaffolder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of scaffolding structures at industrial sites. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth execution of projects in a high-risk environment, adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect scaffolding materials and equipment for defects before and after use.
  • Follow engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures during scaffolding operations.
  • Maintain and store scaffolding equipment properly.
  • Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor immediately.
  • Train and mentor junior scaffolders as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • ITI certification in a relevant trade (e.g., Mechanical, Construction, or Scaffolding).
  • 5-10 years of scaffolding experience in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
  • Proficiency in erecting and dismantling various scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and coupler, frame, modular).
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in challenging environments.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional certifications in scaffolding (e.g., CISRS, OSHA).
  • Experience working in Kuwait or the GCC region.
  • Familiarity with mechanical engineering processes and equipment.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position with potential overtime as per project requirements.
  • Work is primarily on-site in industrial or construction environments.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, heights, and heavy machinery.
  • Strict adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols.
  • Rotational shifts may be required depending on project deadlines.
