Key Responsibilities
As an SCM Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving supply chain processes, ensuring seamless operations across procurement, logistics, and vendor management. Your duties will include:
- Vendor Management: Identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
- Logistics Coordination: Overseeing transportation, warehousing, and distribution to minimize delays and optimize efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to reduce excess inventory.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborating with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions while maintaining quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Analyzing existing supply chain workflows and recommending enhancements for increased productivity.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and preparing performance reports for senior management.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential supply chain disruptions and developing mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and leadership skills. Key qualifications include:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM).
- Strong understanding of logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
- Experience with vendor performance evaluation and contract management.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards and regulations.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Education & Experience
- Graduation/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CIPS will be an advantage.
