Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

As a Semi Fabricator, your primary duties will involve transforming raw materials into finished products using various fabrication techniques. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project specifications
• Measuring, cutting, bending, and shaping metal components using specialized tools and machinery
• Assembling metal parts through welding, bolting, riveting, and other joining methods
• Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, presses, and rollers
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet industry standards and project requirements
• Collaborating with welding teams, engineers, and other construction professionals
• Following strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment
• Troubleshooting fabrication issues and implementing effective solutions
• Working with various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Adapting to different fabrication projects across residential, commercial, and industrial construction sectors

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years of professional experience in metal fabrication within the construction industry
• Proven expertise in fabrication techniques including cutting, bending, and assembling metal components
• Higher Secondary education or equivalent technical certification
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with various metal types and their properties
• Knowledge of welding processes and equipment maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification in welding or metal fabrication
• Experience with CNC machinery and automated fabrication equipment
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations
• Familiarity with project management concepts in industrial fabrication
• Ability to work effectively in team-based construction environments

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This Semi Fabricator position involves working in a hands-on industrial setting where safety is paramount. You will be required to:

• Work in manufacturing facilities and occasionally on construction sites
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 25 kg regularly
• Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods during fabrication processes
• Work in environments with typical noise levels associated with metal fabrication
• Adapt to varying temperatures in workshop environments
