Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and optimizing cost control within our fast-growing construction business. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in cost management, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
• Develop and implement cost control strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining project quality.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory compliance reports.
• Conduct financial audits to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers to analyze budgets, forecasts, and cost variances.
• Manage cash flow, vendor payments, and contract billing cycles.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian accounting standards and legal requirements.
• Leverage ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to streamline financial workflows.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide financial insights to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in cost control and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP solutions).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and KSA tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction or related industries.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
