Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BD & Tandem Mill - Stand & Guide Assembly Fitter to join our Mechanical Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mill stand and guide assembly within the manufacturing sector. This role involves precision fitting, assembly, and maintenance of tandem mill components to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, fit, and align mill stands and guide assemblies for BD and tandem mills.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify adherence to manufacturing standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mill stand components.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize mill performance.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety guidelines and industry regulations.
• Document assembly processes, defects, and corrective actions.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment for precision fitting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in mill stand & guide assembly for BD and tandem mills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of welding, machining, and fabrication techniques.

Education & Experience:

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mill stand assembly within manufacturing.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi. The role requires working in a manufacturing facility with exposure to industrial machinery and occasional physical demands, including lifting heavy components.
