Job Overview

Hamdan Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Mechanical Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and safety of HVAC systems within our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs, along with a strong understanding of safety protocols in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• HVAC System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC units and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations while executing maintenance tasks.
• System Upgrades: Assist in the installation and upgrading of HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigeration units, and ventilation controls.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair logs.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, safety officers, and other technicians to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Doctorate or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in HVAC/R systems (e.g., EPA 608, NATE, or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, specifically in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, and ventilation units.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC system diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with electrical circuits, controls, and automation in HVAC systems.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
