Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our HSE/Safety department. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in HVAC systems, a strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols, and a proven track record in troubleshooting and maintenance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in compliance with industry standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Collaborate with the safety team to ensure all HVAC operations adhere to HSE regulations.
• Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Source and order HVAC parts while managing inventory efficiently.
• Assist in the development of HVAC safety protocols and training programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in manufacturing.
• Certification in HVAC systems (e.g., EPA, NATE) is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, VRF systems, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical HVAC components.
• Knowledge of HVAC safety protocols and HSE compliance standards.
• Experience with HVAC diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills for reporting and training.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
