Job Overview

Disha International, a leading name in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join our Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC systems, particularly in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will ensure the optimal performance, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing HVAC systems to support seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and implement corrective measures.
• Monitor system performance using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA).
• Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to improve HVAC system designs.
• Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist in the procurement of HVAC equipment and spare parts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems (e.g., chillers, boilers, ductwork).
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and control systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC software and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with refrigerant handling and EPA certifications.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NATE, EPA 608) are a plus.
