Senior Project Manager - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and financial forecasts to senior management.
• Manage procurement, resource allocation, and subcontractor relationships.
• Resolve technical and operational challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in mechanical project management within the oil & gas construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, HVAC, and equipment installation.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Solid understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance in oil & gas projects.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Additional certifications in oil & gas or construction management preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-10 years in mechanical project management, specifically in oil & gas construction.
• Prior experience working in the Middle East (Oman/GCC) is highly desirable.

Location & Work Environment
