Shift Incharge Job Opportunity in Riyadh
International Trade Links (ITL) is seeking an experienced Shift Incharge for our Oil & Gas operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This critical operations management role requires a diploma or graduate with 3-5 years of plant supervision experience to oversee shift operations, ensure process efficiency, and maintain safety compliance.

Shift Incharge Responsibilities
As the Shift Incharge in Riyadh, you will play a pivotal role in our oil and gas plant operations with these key duties:
Operations Management
- Supervise and coordinate daily shift operations for smooth plant functioning
- Monitor and optimize process parameters to meet production targets
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the oil & gas facility
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment reliability and minimal downtime
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Team Supervision
- Lead a team of plant operators and technicians during assigned shifts
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for shift personnel
- Manage workforce allocation based on operational requirements
- Provide on-the-job training to new operators and team members
- Maintain labor discipline and adherence to company policies
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE protocols in oil & gas operations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard identifications
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all shift personnel
- Maintain accurate shift logs and operational records
- Implement emergency response procedures when required
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed shift reports covering production, incidents, and issues
- Document equipment performance and maintenance requirements
- Report non-conformances and implement corrective actions
- Maintain inventory records for consumables and spare parts
- Participate in management review meetings as required
Shift Incharge Requirements
To succeed in this Oil & Gas operations role, candidates must meet these qualifications:
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma or Graduation in Chemical/Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of plant operations experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industry
- Proven experience in shift management or supervisory role
- Thorough knowledge of process equipment and plant operations
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent)
Technical Skills
- Understanding of distillation processes and hydrocarbon handling
- Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams and process flow charts
- Knowledge of DCS/PLC systems in plant operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing
- Basic understanding of maintenance planning and work permit systems
Behavioral Competencies
- Strong leadership skills to manage shift teams effectively
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for process troubleshooting
- Ability to work under pressure during plant upsets or emergencies
