Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Ship Building Engineers with a strong technical background in marine construction, ship design, and structural engineering. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in shipbuilding or offshore engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the construction of ships, offshore platforms, and marine structures.
• Perform structural calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies for shipbuilding projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including naval architects and marine engineers, to ensure project success.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, including blueprints, specifications, and project reports.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues during construction and maintenance phases.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in ship design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of marine structural engineering principles.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and material selection for marine applications.
• Familiarity with classification society rules (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Education & Experience:

• Graduation or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipbuilding, offshore construction, or marine engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Prior experience in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
