AARVI ENCON LIMITED, a leader in the Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction sectors, is seeking skilled Ship Construction Engineers to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in ensuring the successful design, construction, and maintenance of marine vessels, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee ship construction plans, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to optimize vessel designs for performance and safety.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for marine construction projects.
• Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Inspect materials, welding, and structural components to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Resolve technical issues during the construction phase, providing innovative solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all safety protocols and environmental regulations are followed during construction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Certifications in ship construction or marine technology are a plus.

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ship construction, preferably in the Oil & Gas or marine engineering sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Familiarity with classification society rules (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes, materials, and structural design.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, corrosion prevention, and marine coatings.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
