Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Ship Fitters to join our Production team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves assembling and fitting structural components of ships, ensuring precision and adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ship structural fitting and an ITI certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine ship fitting requirements.
• Assemble, align, and fit structural components of ships, including bulkheads, decks, and hull sections.
• Operate hand and power tools, such as grinders, drills, and welding equipment, to shape and join metal parts.
• Ensure all fittings comply with industry safety standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and engineers to achieve high-quality construction outcomes.
• Perform inspections and quality checks to verify the accuracy of fittings.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI certification in a relevant field (e.g., Fitter, Welding, or Marine Construction).
• 3-5 years of experience in ship structural fitting or a related marine construction role.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of metalworking tools and techniques.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including confined spaces and heights.
• Attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in shipyards or large-scale marine construction projects.
• Familiarity with welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, or arc welding).
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in our Al Malaz, Riyadh facility. The job requires working in a shipyard setting, which involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noises, and heavy machinery. Candidates must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials when necessary.
