Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for:

• Supervising mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs at project sites.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and team members for smooth project execution.
• Reviewing technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Conducting inspections and quality control checks on mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on-site.
• Preparing progress reports, documentation, and project updates.
• Managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Training and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensuring adherence to environmental and sustainability guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical operations are preferred.

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience as a Site Engineer (Mechanical) in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record in supervising large-scale mechanical projects.
• Experience with pumps, compressors, pipelines, and other mechanical systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
• Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, ISO).

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
