Site Manager – Oil & Gas Construction

Job Overview

Ambe International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction operations in the Oil & Gas industry in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in site management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Team Management: Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and safety standards.
• Budget & Resource Control: Monitor project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and minimize wastage.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work meets company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to mitigate risks.
• Reporting: Prepare progress reports, document site activities, and communicate updates to senior management.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, engineers, and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure project success.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Graduation or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of proven experience in site management within the Oil & Gas or construction industry.
• Strong background in managing large-scale construction projects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
