Slab Cutting Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Slab Cutting Machine Operator to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating slab cutting machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in construction projects. This is a full-time role requiring technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain slab cutting machines to cut construction materials (e.g., stone, concrete, marble) according to project specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, or digital designs to accurately measure and cut slabs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy machinery.
• Inspect finished products for quality and precision, making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with construction teams to meet project deadlines and material requirements.
• Document production data, including material usage and machine performance metrics.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• ITI certification or equivalent technical training in machine operations.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Slab Cutting Machine Operator in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in industrial machinery is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC slab cutting machines and related equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction materials (e.g., granite, marble, concrete) and cutting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and protocols.
