Slitting Machine Operator – Full-Time Position

About the Role

Delhi Overseas is seeking a skilled Slitting Machine Operator to join our dynamic Production team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, with proficiency in operating slitting machines and a strong understanding of machine learning applications in industrial settings. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality output and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain slitting machines to cut materials according to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Document production data, including machine settings, output, and maintenance logs.
• Assist in training junior operators and new hires.
• Implement machine learning techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Slitting Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in production settings is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial slitting machines.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and hazard prevention in a manufacturing setting.
