Sofa Maker & Tailor – Full-Time Position

Job Overview

Nasline HR Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Sofa Maker & Tailor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in sofa making, upholstery, and tailoring. The role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a passion for delivering high-quality furniture products.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or graduation in a relevant field and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The salary range is 2-4 LPA, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality sofas and upholstered furniture using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Measure, cut, and sew fabrics for sofa covers, cushions, and other upholstery components.
• Repair and refurbish old furniture by replacing damaged fabrics, springs, or padding.
• Maintain and operate sewing machines, cutting tools, and other equipment efficiently.
• Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized, following safety protocols.
• Source and manage fabric inventory, ensuring materials are available for ongoing projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in sofa making, upholstery, or tailoring.
• Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and sewing fabrics.
• Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics, foams, and furniture frames.
• Ability to read and interpret design sketches.
• Experience with industrial sewing machines and other upholstery tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Graduation in Furniture Design, Upholstery, or a related field.
• Experience with leather upholstery is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of furniture repair and carpentry.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
