The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in precision PCB soldering and a strong understanding of electronic assembly processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a Soldering Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing high-precision soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using hand tools and automated equipment.
• Inspecting and testing soldered connections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Troubleshooting and repairing defective solder joints or components.
• Maintaining soldering equipment and ensuring proper calibration.
• Collaborating with engineers and production teams to resolve soldering-related issues.
• Adhering to workplace safety guidelines and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.
• Documenting work processes and reporting defects or inconsistencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education

• ITI certification in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in PCB soldering or electronic assembly.
• Familiarity with surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in using soldering irons, rework stations, and magnifying tools.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 soldering standards (preferred).
• Basic understanding of electronic components and circuitry.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Effective problem-solving and time-management skills.
