HR GLOBAL REACH is seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in soldering electronic components, PCB assembly, and precision work in a fast-paced production environment. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering tasks on electronic components, PCBs, and wiring assemblies using hand tools and automated equipment.
- Inspect and test soldered connections to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Assemble and repair electronic components with precision while minimizing defects.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Operate soldering irons, rework stations, and other related equipment safely.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and rectify soldering defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety and 5S standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving soldering-related issues on the production floor.
- Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and manufacturing best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Soldering Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques (through-hole, surface mount, and fine-pitch soldering).
- Ability to work with magnifying tools and microscopes for precision work.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our manufacturing facility in Bangalore, Karnataka. The role requires working in a production setting with exposure to electronic assembly tools, soldering stations, and quality inspection equipment. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
