Job Description

Hamdan Global, a leader in the hospitality and hotel management industry, is seeking a talented and passionate Sound & Light Technician / DJ to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-energy environment, ensuring top-tier audio-visual experiences for our guests.

As a Sound & Light Technician / DJ, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sound and lighting equipment for events, performances, and entertainment activities within our hotel. You will collaborate with event planners, performers, and other team members to deliver seamless audio-visual experiences that exceed guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain sound and lighting equipment for events, live performances, and DJ sets.
• Ensure all audio-visual equipment is functioning optimally before, during, and after events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with sound and lighting systems in real-time.
• Collaborate with event organizers, performers, and other technicians to achieve desired event outcomes.
• Program and operate lighting consoles and soundboards to enhance guest experiences.
• Manage inventory of equipment and report any maintenance needs or replacements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards for audio-visual setups.
• Assist in the planning and execution of themed events, concerts, and nightlife activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Doctorate degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 0-1 year of experience as a Sound & Light Technician, DJ, or in a similar role.
• Prior experience in hotel or entertainment venues is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating sound mixers, amplifiers, microphones, and lighting consoles.
• Knowledge of digital audio workstations (DAWs) and DJ software (e.g., Serato, Traktor).
• Familiarity with wireless audio systems and live sound engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with audio-visual equipment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity in designing engaging audio-visual experiences.
