Job Overview

Sinclus Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Spray Painter – Foreman to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality coating and painting applications in the Oil & Gas Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in industrial painting, coating inspection, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage painting and coating operations for oil & gas construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NACE, SSPC) and safety regulations.
• Supervise and train junior painters, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure proper preparation and finishing.
• Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including HVLP, airless spray systems, and electrostatic tools.
• Monitor material usage and minimize waste while maintaining efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines.
• Prepare detailed reports on coating application, defects, and corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines for paint disposal and hazardous materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in industrial coating techniques (epoxy, polyurethane, zinc-rich primers).
• Knowledge of surface preparation methods (blasting, grinding, chemical cleaning).
• Familiarity with paint mixing, application, and curing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with corrosion prevention and protective coatings.

Soft Skills & Leadership

• Strong team management and communication abilities.
• Problem-solving skills for identifying coating defects and implementing solutions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Ability to work in challenging environments (heights, confined spaces).

Education & Certifications

• Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field (Painting Technology, Chemical Engineering, or similar).
• Certifications such as NACE Level 2 or SSPC are a plus.
• OSHA or similar safety training certifications preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role requiring:

• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment (up to 25 kg).
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
• Adherence to strict safety protocols in hazardous environments.
