ABU DHABI OIL & GAS COMPANY is seeking a highly skilled Sr. HVAC Mechanical Technician to join our Operations team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary (5-8 LPA) for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in the HVAC and manufacturing sector.
As a Sr. HVAC Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance in an industrial setting. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC units and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize system performance.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the procurement of HVAC parts and materials.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant HVAC certification (e.g., EPA, NATE, or equivalent) is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, ventilation, and air conditioning.
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and manuals.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in industrial settings.
Experience
- 0-1 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance or a similar role.
- Familiarity with oil & gas or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Working Conditions
The role requires working in an industrial environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and machinery. Candidates must be physically fit to handle manual tasks and work flexible hours, including overtime, when necessary.
Note: This is not a remote position. The candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
