Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Sr. Pipeline Engineers / Engineers (Hydrotest & General) to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time position within the Oil & Gas sector, requiring 5-10 years of proven experience in pipeline engineering, hydrotesting, and general pipeline operations.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of pipeline projects, adhering to industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. Pipeline Engineer / Engineer (Hydrotest & General), your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, reviewing, and approving pipeline layouts for hydrotesting and general operations.
• Conducting hydrostatic pressure tests and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Supervising pipeline inspection activities and evaluating integrity reports.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize pipeline performance and safety.
• Developing and implementing pipeline maintenance programs.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
• Preparing technical documentation, including reports, schematics, and feasibility studies.
• Providing on-site support for pipeline construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Troubleshooting pipeline operational issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in pipeline engineering, hydrotesting, and inspection within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in pipeline design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Caesar II) is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in pipeline layout design, hydrostatic testing, and inspection.
• In-depth knowledge of ASME B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, and other relevant standards.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Leadership qualities to guide junior engineers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
