Job Description

The Senior Procurement Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services for our ARAMCO project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor negotiation, material procurement, and supply chain optimization within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements.
• Identify and evaluate potential vendors, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to define material specifications and procurement timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Ensure compliance with ARAMCO procurement policies and procedures.
• Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

Graduation or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

• 5-10 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Proven track record in vendor sourcing and material procurement for large-scale projects.
• Experience working with ARAMCO or similar Oil & Gas projects is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
