We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technician Analyzer to join our Oil & Gas maintenance team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing analyzer systems in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. Technician Analyzer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of process analyzers
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in analyzer systems to minimize downtime
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Collaborating with engineers and operators to optimize analyzer performance
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and system performance
• Providing technical support during equipment installation and commissioning
• Training junior technicians on analyzer maintenance best practices
• Monitoring inventory of spare parts and consumables

This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced Oil & Gas environment.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• Certification in analyzer maintenance or calibration (preferred)
• Safety certifications relevant to the Oil & Gas industry

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Technician Analyzer in the Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry
• Proven track record of maintaining sophisticated analyzer systems
• Experience with PLCs, DCS, and other control systems (preferred)

Technical Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of gas chromatographs, pH meters, and other process analyzers
• Understanding of calibration procedures and quality control standards
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency call-outs

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position involves working in an industrial plant environment with the following conditions:

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Occasional work at heights or in confined spaces
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Potential exposure to hazardous materials (with proper safety protocols)
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 25kg, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods

The role is not remote and requires on-site presence at our facility in Jaber Al Ahmad, Kuwait.
