Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technician-Mechanical (LT/HT) to join our dynamic team in the oil & gas industry. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires expertise in high-voltage motor assembly/disassembly and mechanical engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and hold a Doctorate in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Technician-Mechanical (LT/HT), you will be responsible for:
- Performing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of high-voltage (HT) and low-voltage (LT) mechanical systems.
- Assembling and disassembling high-voltage motors and related components.
- Conducting diagnostic tests and inspections to ensure mechanical systems operate efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in the oil & gas sector.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Training junior technicians and providing technical guidance.
- Managing spare parts inventory and procurement for mechanical systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in high-voltage motor assembly/disassembly.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems in the oil & gas industry.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for mechanical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, API).
Education & Experience
- A Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance (LT/HT systems preferred).
- Prior experience in the oil & gas sector is highly desirable.
