Job Summary

ABU DHABI OIL & GAS COMPANY is seeking a highly motivated Static & Rotary Equipment Field Engineer to join our Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This entry-level role is perfect for recent graduates or diploma holders looking to start their career in the oil and gas manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and alignment of static and rotary equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and alignment of static and rotary equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and valves.
• Perform field inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Support senior engineers in equipment maintenance, calibration, and testing procedures.
• Document equipment performance data and generate reports for review.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards during field operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and maintenance schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience in equipment alignment or maintenance (freshers may apply).
• Basic knowledge of static and rotary equipment used in oil and gas manufacturing.
• Understanding of alignment techniques and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in field environments and adhere to safety protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, or ISO.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software or equipment diagnostic tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves frequent field visits to oil and gas manufacturing sites, requiring adaptability to outdoor and industrial environments. Candidates must be prepared to work in shifts or extended hours as per project requirements.
