Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join our production team at Hamdan Global. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in steel fixing for construction projects, along with an ITI certification in a relevant trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and install steel bars (rebar) according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Assemble and secure steel frameworks for concrete structures
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect and measure work areas to ensure proper placement of reinforcements
• Collaborate with construction teams to meet project timelines
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Report any structural issues or material deficiencies to supervisors
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• ITI certification in relevant trade (Welding, Fitter, or similar)
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of steelwork techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects
• Knowledge of Saudi construction safety standards
• Familiarity with different types of reinforcement materials
• Basic knowledge of concrete pouring procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 25kg)
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Tolerance for working in various weather conditions
