Job Description: Steel Fixers (Full-Time) – Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Steel Fixers to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time role, ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in steel reinforcement and construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, and installing steel bars (rebar) to reinforce concrete structures, ensuring safety and adherence to project specifications.

Salary Range: 5-8 LPA

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints for steel reinforcement work.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install steel bars (rebar) for concrete structures.
• Secure rebar using wire, clips, or welding equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
• Work closely with construction teams to meet project deadlines.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment for optimal performance.
• Follow supervisor instructions and collaborate with engineers and contractors.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification

• ITI certification in relevant trade (e.g., Welding, Fitter, or Construction).
• Additional certification in steel fixing or construction is a plus.

Experience

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Steel Fixer in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with structural steel reinforcement techniques.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools (e.g., wire cutters, benders, rebar tiers).
• Basic knowledge of welding and concrete reinforcement methods.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow building specifications.
• Understanding of workplace safety protocols in construction.

Soft Skills

• Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging conditions.
• Attention to detail and precision in steel placement.
• Team collaboration and strong communication skills.

Work Environment

This role requires working on-site at construction projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, at heights, and in confined spaces as needed. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided, and strict safety measures are enforced.
