About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward (Casual) to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team in Riyadh, KSA. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and ensuring smooth operations in dishwashing and food service support. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role and a passion for the hospitality industry.

As a Steward, you will play a key role in maintaining hygiene standards, supporting kitchen staff, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, organizing storage areas, and assisting chefs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Dishwashing: Wash dishes, glassware, and cutlery efficiently and store them appropriately.
• Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and maintain trash disposal areas.
• Inventory Support: Assist in managing kitchen inventory by organizing storage areas and reporting shortages.
• Food Preparation Assistance: Support chefs with basic food prep tasks when required.
• Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure longevity and performance.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Education Level: Higher Secondary or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle heavy kitchen equipment.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Basic knowledge of food safety regulations.
