Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Stewarding Supervisor to oversee the stewarding operations within our 5-star hotel. This role is pivotal in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, maintaining hygiene standards, and supervising a team of stewards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Stewarding Team: Lead and manage the stewarding staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Maintain Hygiene Standards: Ensure all kitchen and dining areas comply with health and safety regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Training & Development: Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and hotel standards.
• Coordination: Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to streamline operations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper handling and maintenance of dishwashing machines, silverware, and glassware.
• Waste Management: Implement and supervise waste disposal procedures in line with environmental policies.
• Reporting: Prepare daily reports on stewarding activities, issues, and resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Leadership: Strong ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for cleanliness and organizational standards.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address operational challenges efficiently.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Knowledge of international hygiene and safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Proficiency in inventory management software.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position with rotating shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
