Storekeepers – Oil & Gas Industry (Abu Dhabi)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our Oil & Gas team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock records, and supporting the Service and Maintenance department. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in stockkeeping, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels match system records.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely replenishment of stock.
• Ensure all materials are stored safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
• Process requisitions and issue materials to the relevant departments.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper disposal of obsolete or damaged stock.
• Generate reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and consumption trends.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Education: Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration).
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in stockkeeping, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in storage management.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in warehouse management within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management.
• Familiarity with automated inventory tracking systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi City. The role requires working in a dynamic industrial setting with adherence to strict safety protocols. Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving stock as needed.
