Job Summary

Resource Hunters Pvt Ltd, a leading player in the petrochemical and oil & gas industry, is seeking a highly skilled Storm Drainage System Operation and Maintenance Expert to join our operations team in Diriyah, Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of storm drainage systems within our facility. This role requires expertise in plant operations, stormwater management, and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of storm drainage systems within the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve blockages, leaks, or system malfunctions.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to optimize stormwater drainage designs.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair storm drainage equipment, including pumps, filters, and pipelines.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and system performance.
• Train junior staff on storm drainage system best practices and safety protocols.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or upgrades.
• Monitor weather forecasts and adjust drainage operations to mitigate flooding risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in stormwater management and drainage system maintenance.
• Strong understanding of plant operations in the petrochemical or oil & gas sector.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to stormwater discharge.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in storm drainage system operations, preferably in the petrochemical industry.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certification in Stormwater Management or Environmental Compliance.
• OSHA or equivalent safety training.

Working Conditions

• This is an on-site position based in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• May require working in outdoor environments and during adverse weather conditions.
• Occasional overtime or emergency call-outs may be necessary.
• Must adhere to strict safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
