Structural Fabricator Job Opening – Oil & Gas Industry

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Structural Fabricators to join our Welding & Fabrication Department in the Oil & Gas industry. This full-time role involves constructing and assembling metal structures, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fabrication, welding techniques, and blueprint interpretation.

This position is based in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires on-site work. Candidates must meet the experience and skill requirements to qualify.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal components using specialized tools and machinery.
• Assemble and weld structural frameworks for oil & gas infrastructure.
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, grinders, and CNC machines.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Follow workplace safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in structural fabrication and metalworking techniques.
• Strong knowledge of welding methods (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Ability to operate heavy machinery (e.g., press brakes, shears).
• Attention to detail in measuring, cutting, and assembling metal parts.
• Understanding of safety standards in the oil & gas sector.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fabrication and welding.
• Prior experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
• Certifications in welding or fabrication (e.g., AWS, CSWIP) are a plus.

Work Environment

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a high-demand industrial setting. You will be expected to:

• Stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
• Work in varying temperatures (indoors and outdoors).
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines, including PPE requirements.
