Structural Fabricator - Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry

About the Role

Aman International HR Consultant is seeking an experienced Structural Fabricator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to our Engineering Department, supporting large-scale projects in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural fabrication, ensuring high-quality assembly, welding, and installation of metal structures.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 5-10 years of hands-on experience in fabrication. Candidates must be detail-oriented, skilled in interpreting blueprints, and committed to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using welding, bolting, and other fabrication techniques.
• Operate and maintain fabrication machinery, including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Ensure all fabricated structures meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct quality control inspections to identify defects and ensure precision.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, work progress, and time management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in structural fabrication, preferably in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical sector.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and automated fabrication tools.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of metallurgy, material properties, and structural integrity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with quality control procedures and inspection protocols.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Al-Naseem, Riyadh. The job involves working in a heavy industrial setting with exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, and strict adherence to safety guidelines is required.

The position may require overtime, weekend shifts, or extended hours to meet project deadlines.
