Job Description

We are seeking skilled Structural Fitters to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in fabrication and welding, ensuring the precise construction and assembly of structural components for large-scale projects in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material requirements and assembly procedures.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components, including beams, columns, and frames, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Operate welding equipment and tools to join metal parts, ensuring high-quality welds and structural integrity.
• Inspect fabricated structures for defects and accuracy, performing adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Operate machinery such as saws, drills, grinders, and CNC equipment for metal fabrication.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in fabrication and welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with structural steel fitting and assembly.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to use fabrication tools and machinery effectively.
• Attention to detail and precision in measurements and assembly.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in a related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology).
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Structural Fitter in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sector.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, CSWIP) is a plus.
