Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structure Erector to join our maintenance team in Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining structural frameworks for oil and gas facilities. This role demands physical endurance, technical expertise, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect structural steel frameworks, beams, and columns according to engineering drawings.
• Perform welding, bolting, and riveting tasks to secure structural components.
• Operate heavy machinery (e.g., cranes, forklifts) to lift and position materials.
• Inspect structures for defects and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards to supervisors.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering schematics.
• Experience with heavy machinery operation (certification preferred).
• Knowledge of structural assembly and installation best practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Physical stamina to work in challenging environments.
• Team collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols.

Education & Experience

• Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Structure Erector (oil & gas industry preferred).
