Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structure Fitter to join our client's maintenance team in Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in welding and structural fitting, particularly in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industries. This full-time role involves assembling, aligning, and fitting metal structures to ensure project specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Assemble and fit metal components to construct structures such as frameworks, supports, and piping systems.
• Perform welding tasks using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Inspect and test completed structures to ensure alignment, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including grinders, drills, and cutting torches.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and regulations.
• Report any defects, malfunctions, or hazards to supervisors.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Higher Secondary (12th grade or equivalent).
• Experience: 1-3 years in structural fitting or welding, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC), metal cutting, and grinding.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Certifications: Welding certification is a plus.
• Communication: Basic English proficiency for reading instructions and reporting issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction projects.
• Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
