Job Responsibilities

As a Civil Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating civil maintenance activities for construction projects.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Inspecting construction sites to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
• Managing a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Collaborating with engineers and project managers to schedule maintenance work.
• Preparing maintenance reports, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Identifying and procuring necessary materials and equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Implementing preventive maintenance programs to extend infrastructure lifespan.
• Resolving on-site maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Training and mentoring junior maintenance staff.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: Graduation or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in civil maintenance supervision within the construction industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of civil maintenance techniques, construction materials, and equipment.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess maintenance issues and implement effective solutions.
• Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of construction safety protocols and regulations.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with maintenance management software is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Candidates with the following additional qualifications will be given preference:

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects in Kuwait or the GCC region.
• Certification in construction safety or maintenance management.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Kuwait.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
