Key Responsibilities and Duties

As our HSE Supervisor, you will be the cornerstone of our operational integrity, ensuring all activities comply with stringent international HSE standards and company-specific protocols. Your day-to-day duties will encompass a wide range of critical safety functions.

HSE Management System Implementation

• Develop, review, and continuously update the Project HSE Plan, Emergency Response Plans, and associated procedures.
• Ensure 100% compliance with local Saudi Arabian regulations and international standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001/14001).
• Conduct thorough risk assessments (JSA/HIRA) for all operational tasks, recommending and tracking effective control measures.

Site Safety Monitoring & Inspection

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and audits of work sites, equipment, and facilities.
• Monitor adherence to Permit-to-Work systems (Hot Work, Confined Space, Excavation, etc.) and provide necessary safety guidance.
• Lead and document incident investigations for any near-misses, injuries, or environmental incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Training & Culture Development

• Organize and deliver impactful HSE induction programs and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
• Promote and foster a strong, positive safety culture where every individual feels responsible for HSE performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all HSE-related queries and concerns from project staff and management.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit detailed HSE performance reports to project and corporate management.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and safety meetings.
• Manage and analyze leading and lagging indicators to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Certification

• A Graduation or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a closely related field is required.
• Professional HSE certifications are a significant advantage (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, CSP).

Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience in an HSE supervisory role, specifically within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with HSE management systems, contractor management, and site safety enforcement.
• Prior experience working on projects in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of fire prevention, industrial hygiene, and occupational health requirements.
