About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor – Maintenance (Conveyors) to join our dynamic team in Muscat, Oman. This full-time role is ideal for a skilled professional with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in conveyor maintenance within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will oversee conveyor system maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing conveyor systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for conveyor equipment to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and coordinate timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for critical repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruptions due to conveyor breakdowns.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance team skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Recommend upgrades or replacements for aging or inefficient conveyor components.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in conveyor maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in an industrial setting.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, motors, and sensors.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Soft Skills
