Foreman – Piping / Mechanical

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman – Piping / Mechanical to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas sector. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and piping systems, along with an ITI certification. The successful candidate will oversee installation, maintenance, and repair operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of piping and mechanical teams on-site.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Monitor work progress and report to senior management on project status.
• Conduct inspections of piping and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Train and mentor junior staff to improve efficiency and skill levels.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and operational.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Expertise in mechanical and piping systems installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of welding, fitting, and fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI).
• Experience with heavy machinery and equipment used in piping projects.

Soft Skills

Education & Certification

• ITI certification in Mechanical or related field.

• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role involves working in challenging environments, including outdoor sites, confined spaces, and high-temperature conditions. The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to:

• Stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
• Lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Work overtime or weekends based on project demands.
