Job Responsibilities

As a Tailor at Hamdan Global, you will be responsible for:

• Measuring, cutting, and stitching fabrics to create or alter uniforms and garments for hotel staff and guests.
• Performing repairs and adjustments on damaged or ill-fitting clothing.
• Ensuring all stitching work meets the hotel’s quality and design standards.
• Maintaining an organized and clean workspace with proper care for sewing machines and tools.
• Collaborating with the hotel’s laundry and maintenance teams to manage textile needs efficiently.
• Keeping records of measurements, alterations, and inventory of fabrics and materials.
• Following safety protocols to prevent accidents while using sewing equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

• Stitching Expertise: Proficiency in hand and machine stitching techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise and high-quality work.
• Creativity: Skill in designing and altering garments to meet specific needs.
• Time Management: Efficiently handle multiple tailoring tasks under tight deadlines.
• Basic Math Skills: Accurate measurements and fabric calculations.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods while working.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate or advanced certification in Fashion Design or Tailoring (optional).
• Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with luxury fabrics and high-end garment care.

Work Environment

This position is on-site at our facility in Diriyah, Riyadh. You will work in a well-equipped tailoring department within a prestigious hotel setting. The role may require occasional overtime during peak seasons or special events.
