Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

As a Tank Fitter - Fabricator at Ambe International, you will be entrusted with critical fabrication tasks that ensure the integrity and operational efficiency of storage systems within the Oil & Gas sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for tank fabrication projects
• Preparing metal components for assembly through cutting, grinding, and shaping using appropriate machinery and tools
• Assembling and fitting metal parts to fabricate tanks, vessels, and related structures according to design specifications
• Performing precise measurements and calculations to ensure proper fit and alignment of components
• Operating specialized fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, rollers, and press brakes
• Conducting quality checks on fabricated components to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
• Collaborating with welders to ensure proper preparation of joints and surfaces for welding operations
• Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to all company safety protocols and industry regulations
• Troubleshooting fabrication issues and implementing effective solutions to maintain project timelines
• Documenting work processes, materials used, and time expenditures for project tracking and reporting
• Coordinating with other team members including engineers, inspectors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution

Qualifications & Skill Requirements
