About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Site to oversee maintenance and construction activities in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record in the construction industry. This role involves managing a team, ensuring site safety, and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of workers on-site to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and construction standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to align work with project plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage material, equipment, and labor resources efficiently.
- Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including progress reports and incident logs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong technical knowledge in construction and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- ITI Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in construction or maintenance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi. The role requires physical stamina, as it involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel to different project sites may be required.
