E&I Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled E&I Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation Technician) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical to maintaining and optimizing electrical and instrumentation systems in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, and proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance.

As an E&I Technician, you will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the smooth operation of equipment, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, control panels, PLCs, and instrumentation devices.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an E&I Technician in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in industrial automation is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and control systems.
• Experience with voltage testing, wiring, and electrical safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Basic understanding of predictive maintenance techniques.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Sulimaniyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working in a manufacturing plant, which may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. Safety gear and protocols are strictly enforced to ensure a secure work environment.
