Job Overview

As a Molding Technician, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting molding machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. Your role will be crucial in minimizing downtime, optimizing machine performance, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate molding machines according to production requirements.
• Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on molding equipment.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize molding processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety among team members.
• Assist in training new technicians on machine operations and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Molding Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with injection molding, blow molding, or compression molding processes is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining molding machinery.
• Basic knowledge of mold design, tooling, and material properties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with quality control procedures and defect analysis.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards (OSHA or equivalent).

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in a manufacturing facility located in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves:

• Working in a production floor setting with exposure to machinery noise.
• Standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights as needed.
• Following strict safety protocols, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
