Job Description: Technician (Plating)

About the Role

M. Gheewala Global HR Consultants is seeking a skilled Plating Technician to join our manufacturing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Plating Technician, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting plating equipment to ensure high-quality metal finishing processes. This role is ideal for candidates with a technical background and 1-3 years of experience in electroplating, anodizing, or related metal finishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plating equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plating machinery.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare chemical solutions and ensure proper handling of plating materials.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Document processes, equipment performance, and quality control data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating electroplating, anodizing, or metal finishing equipment.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures in plating processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and chemical issues in plating systems.
• Familiarity with quality control inspections and testing methods.

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certification in plating techniques or industrial manufacturing is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position at our manufacturing facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working in a production setting with exposure to chemicals and machinery. Candidates must adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear protective equipment as needed.
