Bolt/Torque Technician – Oil & Gas Industry

About the Role

Indman Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd is seeking skilled Bolt/Torque Technicians to join our team in Abu Dhabi for onshore oil & gas projects. This is a full-time position ideal for recent graduates or diploma holders with a mechanical background and an eagerness to grow in the oil & gas industry.

As a Bolt/Torque Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise assembly and tightening of bolts in critical equipment, adhering to strict industry standards to maintain operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bolt tightening and torque application on mechanical components in oil & gas production equipment.
• Follow technical specifications, blueprints, and torque charts to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspect and maintain tools, ensuring they are calibrated and functional.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot issues.
• Document torque values and report discrepancies.
• Assist in preventive maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:

• 0-1 year of experience in a mechanical or oil & gas technician role (Freshers with relevant coursework/training may apply).

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of bolt tightening techniques and torque tools.
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly and disassembly processes.
• Understanding of safety protocols in onshore oil & gas operations.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Work Environment

This role is based onshore in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will work in a dynamic, safety-focused environment with exposure to large-scale oil & gas production equipment. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
